Burkina Faso : Centre-Ouest

The African Bank of Development has ordered a feasibility study for a decentralised rural development project in the Centre-Ouest region of Burkina Faso.

This multi-sectorial study has identified the present situation, as well as the needs in the following domains : health, training, water supply, irrigation, agro-pastoralism, roads, tracks.

On the basis of this analysis, a pluri-annual project has been developed and proposed to the client and funding agency.

All the data and information that have been collected during the course of the study, have been centralised in a database, linked to a GIS application. This tool is used for the consultation of the base situation, but also as a start for the monitoring-evaluation of the future project.
